We have had 4 recent increases in the cost of the vinyl used to make domes. At this time it appears residential dome prices will be increasing
at least 10% to 15% this season. If you're planning on getting a dome in 2008, get your order in as soon as you can to beat the upcoming increases.
Ameri-Dome Lights Installation
1. Determine where you want to Install your Ameri-Dome Lights.
2. Locate
the 4 "Z" Clips and attach them to Frame with the included screws. There
are 4 "Z" clips per light to keep the lights properly secured (and
grounded) to the deck and to prevent tipping of the units.
3. Anchor Installation for Concrete Decks:
Step A: Using a rotary hammer drill with a 1/2 inch masonry bit, drill 2 inches into the deck.
Step B: Put the "redhead" insert into the hole. Use a hammer and a center punch and set the "redhead"
into the deck. (Just like you did when you installed the dome.)
Step C: Place the washer
on the hex bolt provided and push the hex bolt through the "Z" clip and
thread into the insert that's in the concrete. Tighten with a wrench.
It's important to secure the lights to the deck to prevent electrical shock.
Use all 4 "Z" clips included.
4.DO NOT disconnect GFI unit from the light
Cord. Also, keep excess Power Cord outside of the dome and away from the pool area.
5.IMPORTANT:
Use a medium sized phillips screwdriver to remove the 4 screws holding the
clear lexan lens on EACH light. Carefully remove the protective packing
material surrounding the light bulbs and reinstall the face plates.
