I ordered a Bimini Top from you last May and just wanted to tell you how satisfied I was with both the product and the service. I have lost my information so I'm not sure of the name or e-mail address of the person I dealt with. I changed colors after my initial order and asked several installation questions after receiving the final product. The person I dealt with was very helpful and the whole process was a good experience. The top looks great on my boat and kept my family and friends much cooler this summer.

I got the optional back poles and couldn't imagine not having them. The boat is a Crownline 202 BR. "I was so tickled to see the photos of our clear dome in the clear dome gallery. As I told you in my phone message, the heater vent is blowing cold air only. This hasn't been a noticable problem because it was in the 50's outside, but the temperature has fallen in the past few days. Please email me a copy of the heater directions so I can get the pool guys to hook it up properly. The wonderful masons reinstalled it, but obviously they didn't know what to do in the pool equipment shed, because they didn't set the heater up with the pump last year. "Dear Tim, I wanted to drop you a line and tell you how thrilled we are with our pool dome. It has been up now for approximately 2 months. The installation was much easier than I expected it to be. I had three other men that helped but probably would have been fine with just 2 others. It took our heater 3 days running non-stop to raise the water temperature fom 40 degrees to 90. After that it has had no problem keeping the temperature at the 90 degree level. The first months gas bill was a bit of a shock but, the second month was only half of the first's. Since we have an automatic cover on our pool, it's easy for us to keep the cover open a little to keep the dome somewhat heated. It's amazing how much warmer it is in the dome even when it's well below freezing outside. Just being in the dome out of the wind makes a huge difference. On sunny days the temperature in the dome is very pleasant, except when the temperature gets above the high 70's. If it's too warm, we just leave one of the 2 doors we have on our dome open halfway or so, to let the air exchange."

One woman died, half the roads in Jefferson County were blocked and 357,000 customers lost power when a storm assaulted Alabama Friday afternoon. The rain and strong winds passed in just a few minutes, but the damage left emergency repair crews working through the night to remove trees and repair utility poles.
Monitors recorded windspeeds of 99 mph at Legion Field, where gusts knocked askew the goal posts and tore up the XFL's giant video screen.
In East Lake, winds blew the metal roof off the Relax Inn at 6100 First Avenue North. The widespread and severe storm damage had utility and emergency crews in triage.
Alabama Power reported a peak of 357,000 customers statewide without power, said spokeswoman Sandi George. The greater Birmingham area accounted for 218,000 of the outages and Alabama Power requested 1,200 to 1,500 utility workers from five other states to restore service, Mrs. George said. At 10 p.m., 193,000 customers in the Birmingham area still had no power. The outage was the utility's third worst in its history, Mrs. George said. Utility authorities expected to restore about 90 percent of the Birmingham area's power by Sunday night. The rest of the state should be back on Monday morning, Mrs. George said.
Jefferson County EMA reported that just about half the roadways in Jefferson County were blocked after the late afternoon storm, said EMA spokesman Mark Kelly. The Sheriff's Department closed at least 17 roads across the county, and the Birmingham Police urged people to stay off the streets which were littered by trees and live power lines.
A falling tree left little warning for one woman in Ensley Highlands. Stunned residents on Avenue V near Pike Road heard a crunch just after 3 p.m. A 40-foot oak tree had smashed onto the top of a car. They ran outside to help and saw a white Chevrolet Corsica hit across the middle by a tree too big to move. The tree had crushed the roof of the car into the passenger compartment, bowed the frame of the car, blown out the rear tires and showered automobile glass into the street.

Friday's furious front swelled up in Central Mississippi, moving quickly across the Southeast. Winds descended from the middle-atmosphere, pushing a patch of the system ahead, a bulge that created a bow-effect on radar images. That bow, which hit Jefferson, Shelby and Tuscaloosa counties, carried winds between 50 and 80 mph, said Kevin Pence, a National Weather Service meteorologist.
The storm front dumped 0.41 of an inch of rain on the Birmingham area. Temperatures should be much cooler today, dipping into the 20's by tonight. BellSouth reported several hundred customers without service, and expected to have crews working throughout the weekend, said spokeswoman Terri Denard.

"The Dome is incredible! Having used the old totally plastic Fabrico Dome for many years, the half netting is a dream. First of all, the visibility to the outside world is a whole new experience from inside the pool. "I am emailing you know to let you know that we have enjoyed our last Fabrico Dome. We had our dome for about 10 years and had no problems with it in that time frame. We had an early snowstorm last fall with extreme winds and our dome caved with the weight. We never questioned whether we should purchase another dome as we have invested in solar blankets and were much more pleased with the dome than anything else. There are several reasons for this; (1) it kept our pool around 80-90 degrees most of the summer, (2) it kept debris from the water, (3) I used less chemicals due the fact that they did not evaporate, (4) it increased the length of use for the season. We live the upper peninsula of Michigan and our summer season is not extremely long."

"Hello! We recently purchased a pool dome from your company. Our property is located in a wooded area so tree debris in the pool has been a problem in the past. We also have a lot of mosquitoes and deer flies. We debated whether the dome would be worth the price and hassle of putting it up. "I just wanted to tell you how great the Spa Dome is working for us. What a fantastic product! If we didn't have it we probably would not be using our hot tub at all. The weather in Central New York is pretty nasty this time of year - sleet, freezing rain, snow temperatures in the 20's and 30's - in spite of all that, we are still in the hot tub 3 to 4 times a week. It is very well made and sturdy. In fact, we had 50+ mph winds which battered the area for 2 days last week. I expected to find the dome in someone else's yard or in a tangled heap, but it stayed up and in place. Two inches of snow on top doesn't seem to effect it either. It just slides off. I hung a thermometer inside just to see how warm it gets in there at times. Before I uncover the tub, the temperature will be 30 degrees inside the dome. Within 20 minutes the the temperature rises to a nice balmy 54 degrees. If it gets too hot or foggy inside, we will just open the door and/or the window.
As you know, I was reluctant in purchasing this product sight - unseen, and had some reservations about being satisfied with the dome. (What if we didn't like it?) Well, we love it!! We received our Spa Dome on November 27th and I wish we had gotten one sooner!!"

"Good news...steps are in & liner is here...bad news, it has been raining since the moment the semi arrived with it and it is suppose to continue to rain for the next 2 days straight...the pool is covered but the rain is still sneaking in so I will have a day of "re-shaping" the deep end yet again before we can this d--- liner in place....

"I want to thank you for the help you provided when I ordered my liner. I picked it up 2 weeks ago and had it installed and the pool filled over that weekend. Being able to talk to the factory specialist when I picked-up the liner was a blessing. His instructions about how to use an extension ladder across the width of the pool to support the liner as it was being set into the track was fantastic. With the help of a friend, my daughter, and her boyfriend, we had the liner set in place and locked into the track in less than an hour. Seams lined up without any adjustment. The d--- thing fit like a glove, and I would say far better than any of the last three liners I had measured and installed by "professionals." Despite the warnings the factory specialist gave me about being prepared to get frustrated, not a single swear word was used during our installation, except when we were finished and I said, "D---, that looks really good!" I think I repeated something similar once the pool was filled. All I need now is for the weather to warm-up so I can take advantage of our work. I am beginning to think that just like you are guaranteed rain the day after you wash your car, you can also expect an extend cool spell after you fill your pool."

"Just a note of praise for how the pool liner turned out. It was easier than we imagined. I took us more than 2 days to empty the pool, our pump quit and we had to go buy a new one to finish the job. As we drained the last of the water we removed the old liner in sections and did whatever repairs to the bottom we deemed necessary. By 2:00 on Sunday the old liner was all out and the bottom as smooth as we could get it. By 3:00 the new liner was in! Our shop-vac decided to burn up while getting the air out. Se we had to go out and buy a new one of those too. The liner looks great! There's not a single wrinkle! It fits perfectly! Obviously we are the type of people that whatever can go wrong will and it actually went much easier than we dreamed! Your instructions and tips for removal and installing were very helpful, THANKS!"

"I just wanted to send you a "picture story" that began with the first few picture that I sent you prior to ordering my new pool liner, goes through the modification stages of the pool bottom and then the moment of truth - installing the liner! As you can see, I didn't get out of the pool after cutting in the main drain before my wife got her hands on the camera...thus my bald head is shown glistening in the sun along with the newly installed main drain!
If you open the files in numerical order, they will take you all the way from the very first picture that I e-mailed to you about 4 weeks ago up to the point that the pool is ready to swim in, and Kreepy Krauly doing his thing getting things cleaned up a little. I must tell you, Mike, and the crew, that this was without the best installation ever! Your attention to detail was reflected throughout this entire process, from gathering all the info necessary to make sure that the liner was going to fit the first time to delivering a truly first class product. The liner took its normal 10 minutes to drop...about 5 minutes to get it all tucked in, and within another 10 minutes, ALL the wrinkles were out, and there was water going into the pool. You can see in a couple of the attached (without water) pix that the fit was perfect!
