The Carlos Mirabal Professional Pitching Dome
The original Mirabal Pitching Dome was designed and manufactured for Carlos Mirabal himself for training, instruction and conditioning. Since then, these domes have proven to be a great alternative to constructing permanent buildings or batting cages for winter batting and pitching practice. Mirabal Pitching Domes measure 13 feet wide by 9 feet tall by 70 feet long (13' x 9' x 70') and are internally lined with a standard impact pitching and batting net with a strength of 290 pounds per cord. Each dome is anchored to a concrete slab or footer at intervals of 3 feet with Redhead concrete anchors.
The net hangs from the interior dome walls along our net suspension system to protect the dome walls from receiving the brunt of fast-moving baseballs. The net is attached to the suspension system with ball bungees that are provided with the dome. Ball bungees allows for easy installation of the net and are reusable from year to year should you decide to take the dome down in the summer months. The dome also comes with two strings of lights, measuring 100 feet long, which you can hang running down each wall. These lights improve visibility inside the dome by supplementing the daylight that shows through the dome walls. The lights hang between the net and dome wall suspended with the ball bungees, are shatter-proof, and will not damage the walls of the dome if they come in contact with them.
Mirabal Pitching Domes come with 1 blower to keep it inflated and one L-zipper, already installed, for entry as well as a spare L-zipper. The net comes with a forest green rectangular backdrop to increase the visibility of the white baseball.
