When to Choose a Draw Rope
All semi-custom covers normally come with heavy-duty shock cord sewn into the perimeter hem. In some cases, a draw rope is a better fit for how the boat is stored and how you need to tighten the cover.
Because semi-custom covers are usually a couple of inches longer than the actual boat length, a draw rope can help create the tight fit you are looking for. It can also help when the boat is stored where it is hard to move freely around the whole perimeter.
