Sundura Marine Polyester Fabric

This marine fabric is 100% polyester woven to the highest standards specifically for Carver Industries. The fabric is 100% solution dyed, which means the colors are part of the polyester fiber itself, rather than a dye coating simply adhering to the external surface of the fibers. This coloring method helps eliminate damage to other items on the boat from potential dye transfer, which does occur with lesser quality cover materials. This manufacturing process helps to make it one of the best marine fabrics available on today's market.

Marine Polyester is a lightweight 7.6 oz., 600-denier tightly woven (yet breathable) fabric that offers SUPERIOR resistance to harmful UV rays, fading, mildew, tearing and overall wear-and-tear. With its additional waterproofing finish it is exceptionally water repellent while maintaining breathability for the health of your boat. Breathability of the fabric is critical as adequate air movement through the pores of the cover will help remove excess moisture. This can eliminate the "growing of things" in the boat carpeting and upholstery, the fogging of dash gauges, and also can help keep the boats electrical system from corroding.
