Setting Up & Measuring Perimeters
Determine the shape of your dome by laying coins on the deck of your pool at each location the walls of your dome will change direction. We call these "Points."
When you are satisfied with the shape of your dome, replace each coin with a numbered mark using an indelible marker. You will need these marks later to line up your dome when installing (if, for any reason, you decide not to install a dome, these marks can be scrubbed off or they will fade away on their own with time.)
Establish A and B locations at exactly 20' apart and 3' away from the wall of the dome. If you have any questions about setting up, please give us a call at 800-982-6966.
Pulling the tape measure tight enough to prevent sagging, measure in feet & inches the perimeter distance between all numbered points. Begin with #1 and work clockwise around the deck. Log these numbers on your measuring sheet (pdf).
Measuring from A to Numbered Points
Measure in feet & inches the distance from A to all other numbered points. Begin with A to 1 and work clockwise around the deck. Log these numbers on your measuring sheet.
Measuring from B to Numbered Points
Measure in feet & inches the distance from B to all other numbered points. Begin with B to 1 and work clockwise around the deck. Log these numbers on your measuring sheet.
Cross Check Points
Provide at least two cross check dimensions as a double check for us. Log these numbers on your measuring sheet. Once you have gathered all the measurements you need, send it to us online using the A-B measurments form or fax it to us at 530-589-2510. We will get back with you right away.
