Tank Measuring
Measuring for tank liners falls into one of three categories: Round Tanks, Rectangular Tanks, and Custom-Shape Tanks. Although we have years of liner experience with completely custom shapes (often seen in inground pool liners), most tank liners are simple rounds and rectangles. Regardless of the shape, the cost is based on a per square footage of vinyl used. Online tank liner price are for 25 mil, potable white vinyl.
When measuring for a tank liner, keep in mind that the liner needs to be attached to the top of the tank by either a bead & track system or an "overlap" method, your choice based on the situation. For overlap liners, extra wall height is required so that the top edge of the liner can be folded over and secured properly. This normally adds about 6 to 12 inches to the wall height. For beaded liners, no extra wall height is needed, but a flexible bead track must be purchased (included in quote) and secured to the inside top perimeter of the tank. This gives the bead a place to lock into.

Measuring Custom-Shaped Tanks
Due to the custom nature of a unique tank shape, you will have to provide us with a rough drawing (including measurements) in order to get an accurate liner price. A good drawing with dimensions makes the quote process much more effecient and allows us to talk to you about your liner intelligently.
