Rotary Entry Door
The Rotary Entry Door is wheelchair accessible, has ball bearing upper pivot, and rustproof rollers on the bottom track perimeter. Its curved walls are constructed from galvanized steel which is then painted with rust inhibiting enamel. Clear Polycarbonate panels are fastened to an interior rotation drum and are virtually unbreakable. This entry unit comes fully assembled. Shipping weight is approximately 265 lbs.
Rotary Doors are currently being phased out since their manufacturer has ceased to produce them. We no longer offer them with new domes, but replacement rotary doors are available for existing domes, while suppies last.
Important Note: Rotary doors are not legal in all state, partially due to the fact that they create accessibility problems for emergency personel with backboards or stretchers during pool related injuries. Recently, one city even closed their own public pool, which had a dome with rotary doors, until the dome entries were replaced. Luckily, we were able to help them replace their rotary doors with the Airlock Entry System and they were able to re-open the pool.
